Those who had the opportunity long ago moved away from the war, and the most vulnerable segments of the population – orphans, pensioners, single mothers with children, families with many children, the disabled were forced to stay in this horror. They have nowhere to go, nothing to eat, and no one to ask for help…

Every week our affiliate, which was opened in Donetsk in 2005, organizes a delivery of bread (1200-1500 loafs) to these regions and holds sermons. You can’t even imagine the lines that are forming to hear the Word of God and to receive a loaf of bread. From the morning, thousands of people gather on the square between the apartment buildings and go to church together for an hour’s sermon on the Gospel, and when they leave the church, they receive a loaf of bread. Through material bread, people are satiated with the Bread of the Spirit. People willingly go to hear the Word of God. Three large Bible study groups are already organized.

Our Donetsk branch has many ministries outside the church. Our ministers visit homeless shelters, hospitals, and homes of those who are no longer able to come to church on their own, work with children and youth, and much more. Over 30 ministries are held outside of the church.

In Donetsk we have been able to reach adults as well as children in the city’s orphanage. Every summer we hold outreach camps for children from both the church and underprivileged children and orphans, where we teach the children about God and hold fun activities that allow them to forget for at least a week the horrors of life in a city ravaged by war.

And today we need your help to increase the amount of bread in the distribution, to add hot meals for those who have nothing to eat, to provide children from large families and orphans with everything they need to study. We are asking for your help as there is no one else to take care of them.
