“Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God.” (Deuteronomy 9:11)
It’s amazing how accurately seasons resemble the stages of human life. Every fall, once again, illustrates the fact that in our lives too, the time will come to reap the fruits of everything we did. And we won’t reap what we please, but what we have sown. What you sow will grow. And people usually have to reap much more than they sowed.
In the Book of Revelation, the Lord says words that denounce the believers of the Laodicean Church: “You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.” (Revelation 3: 17).
What a contrast, what a dramatic refraction! Here on earth we see rich and prosperous people who have everything. They may be famous performers, politicians, successful entrepreneurs, or the leaders of nations. They probably look influential and self-confident, have expensive houses, cars, yachts and private planes. They have a good education and everything they wish for. But at the same time, think about how they look in the eyes of God: wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. That’s how they will appear before God, if they continue sowing in the same way.
We keep sowing all our lives, but the harvest will certainly come in the end. Therefore, in terms of eternal life, no matter what the person is on earth, the president or a simple worker, Scripture gives everyone the same precious piece of advice: “Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God.” (Deuteronomy 9:11)
We sincerely thank the Lord and you, our dear brothers and sisters, our fellow workers in God’s service for the good seeds you sow supporting the ministry of the Mission. This is a true testimony that you haven’t forgot the Lord your God and find an opportunity to serve Him through helping the Mission. May the Lord fill your granaries with good crops that will lead you into Eternal Life. May He not erase your name from the Book of Life in heaven. To Him, Who loved us and saved us, may glory and praise be done forever and ever. Amen.
“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.” (Hebrews 10:35)
