Support for the elderly
Elderly people need our attention just like our children. They genuinely enjoy every meeting and crave fellowship. Every week we meet and talk about God, read the Word and discuss the latest news. Throughout the years of our fellowship, we have seen how our meetings encourage them and help them not to feel forgotten.
For many years, every week
representative of our Mission visits Golden Days Care Center and leads service with them. The service begins with singing with a group from the Center, followed by an overview of world Christian news that we signify as themes for their prayers, and concludes with a sermon. These visits encourage the hearts of our seniors and give them confidence that they continue to be soldiers in the Army of Jesus Christ, moving for the needs of the saints through their prayers. There are about 200 visitors to the Center and they look forward to this ministry with great anticipation and desire. The elderly people need our attention as much as the children.
